John Zulhsdorf reports that the RC Bishop of Erie, Pennsylvania has tendered his resignation. Let us pray for his speedy replacement. There is much more that I really want to say, but I am doing all I can to maintain even the smallest scintilla of something that passes for the opposite of being uncharitable. I'll say one thing positive about Bp. T., aside from his retirement. Bp. T. was among those very few Catholic hierarchs who criticized Notre Shame University for allowing PrezBO to speak at a commencement and be honored with an honorary "whatever." If one is willing to give him all those "Awshucks," then one must give him an "Attaboy" on those rare occasions when he screws up in reverse! I am surely gonna miss the Red Guru . . . NOT!
